Campaign Story
Our former BPI &/or OOCL officemate and forever friend Rhodora “Doods” Jader Fetalvero, is one of the kindest, sweetest, prayerful and most thoughtful person you can meet. Her warmth, generosity, helpfulness and loving nature are evident by the way she cares for Mader (her Mom), Boyfet (her hubby), her 3 gentlemen sons and the numerous people fortunate to call her a friend, and in the case of BPI & OOCL ex-colleagues, her extended family.
Our dear Doods was recently hospitalized due to severe back pains. Doctors found tumors in her lungs, spine and brain, some of which are compressing nerves that are affecting her speech, food intake & causes numbing in her extremities. While waiting for biopsy results, she is undergoing daily radiotherapy sessions to help control the growth of the tumors. As of Nov 12, she has completed 5 of the 6 initial treatment sessions.
Let us pray for Doods’ healing of body, mind and spirit. May she find comfort in knowing that the Lord our God is and will always by her side.
As we journey with the Fetalveros in prayers, let us also share our blessings. With our generous hearts, let us pitch in to help defray the financial costs of her treatment and hospitalization. More details of how the funds we collect will be provided once we receive the biopsy results and treatment plans.

Update posted by Manolo Fetalvero at 03:11 amThe 2nd round of radiotherapy sessions for Doods was completed last 27th Dec. It was relatively uneventful. And after a couple of days of observation, the doctors agreed that she's fit enough to be discharged and start her rehab from home. So, last Monday, 30th Dec, Doods came home.It was. . . . .

We just can't imagine what would it be like without your constant prayers, encouragement and financial support.Two weeks ago, after much deliberation, we decided that Doods is strong enough to go through the right thigh bone strengthening procedure. They explained to him the biopsy results and the targeted therapy she's on now, the radiotherapy sessions she completed and its effect, and her overall condition, etc. The. . . . .

She has been transferred from Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) to Singapore General Hospital, where the National Cancer Center of Singapore (NCCS) is located, last Nov 3.She has completed her radiotherapy treatment last Thursday, 14th Nov.
