Let’s celebrate Diwali in a different way

Sometimes known as the "Festival of Lights," Diwali is a Hindu celebration that takes place every year between mid-October and mid-November. This year Diwali is on November 11, 2015. Diwali is around the corner. Most of us are getting ready to celebrate it big time with friends and family. But please take a moment to think of the less fortunate among us. Can we do something about them?

Let's celebrate Diwali in a novel way this year. Let's distribute happiness to underprivileged families this Diwali. We are planning to distribute the 'Happiness Kit' this Diwali, which will include 500 gm sweet, 1 Kg snacks (namkeen), 1 Shirt, 1 Pair Children's cloth and 1 Saari or Salwar suit. We will distribute this kit to families living in slum/streets. The estimate cost for 1 kit is around $ 20. We are planning to distribute at least 100 kits and we need your support.

I am requesting you to donate in denominations of $20 (i.e. by number of kit you want to donate), but we will consider whatever you can donate.

We have a volunteers in India to prepare and distribute kit. We will email you the pictures of distribution to show you how $20 can make someone happy.
