Let’s Beat This Kidney Issue

For those who are thinking of donating, here is Draykes story.

On December 16th 2016 Drayke has a 3 minute seizure, he rushed him to the Powers Emergency Vet Clinic here in Colorado Springs, CO to get him looked at. After 5 hours at the ER the Vet wasn't sure what could have caused it so she suggested us get blood work done. I had become Unemployed on November 16th 2016 and we were so tight on money that there was no way we could do blood work that second, so she sent us home with 3 different kinds of medicine.
A Anti-Seizure medicine for 13 days, secondly a medicine to help clean out blood bacteria, then thirdly another medicine to help clean out the liver of toxins. She thought he had liver shunts.

On Decmember 27th Drayke got enough on his GoFundMe to pay for his Bloodwork / initial exam at Crossroads Animal Hospital here in Colorado Springs. We were seen by a Mrs. Rose, who has worked in the vet industry for 8 years. His blood work came back that his liver was 100% healthy! .... Though his Kidney values were close to 4.7 where they should be around 1.2, she suspects possible Renal Failure. We had a hard choise to make. We had raised up the $440 in roughly a week, which turned out perfect but now we need a little bit more to cover this new development of testing we need.

A few days went by and I realized something, Drayke has gotten into the pantry and ate roughly 4-6 apples WHOLE, meaning toxic seeds and all, while we were out buying groceries. Apple Seeds contain a very bad and harmful chemical that can cause; Seizures, Renal Failure, Kidney Issues, Blood Poisoning, and quite a lot of other health issues from this Toxin. I told the vet about it, and she thinks the Seizure was caused by that toxin, but she wants to do some extensive tests on Drayke to see if his Kidney issue is caused by the toxin and if it's curable!

The Vet suggested getting a Extensive Chemistry Panel, Ultrasound, Radiography, Get him in some Fluid Therapy to flush the kidneys, and to go up to another City to see a Specialist.

Most of all that will cost close or more of a Grand for everything, and that's not including the Herbal Supplements and Special Kibble he will be on during all of this. His Special Kibble and Supplements are already in the mail coming to us, as we want to get him on those at least immedietly.

My mommy has been really worried about me, even though I feel great! I just have to go outside often, and I am always so thirsty, but I know I did bad by eating those delicious apples.
