Let us help Peter with his Chemotherapy

Peter Stevens is a good friend of mine way back when i was working in the Philippines. Recently, I found out that he is in dire need of funds as he is undergoing chemotherapy due to Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma. As of now, he has 2 cycles left for his chemo. Each cycle has 2 sessions and 1 session cost about PHP45, 000. That is why we are asking your help to us raise the funds for him.

What is Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma?

Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma is a cancer that develops in the cells within the bile ducts; both inside and outside the liver. The terms cholangiocarcinoma and bile duct cancer are often used to refer to the same condition.

Here is a message from his son Patrick Stevens

"As of Feb 6 2020, the Hepatobiliary Surgeon said he can’t resect the tumour since it has metastasized outside the liver. Dad is now scheduled for biopsy for us to know how aggressive the cancer cells and will be endorsed for chemotherapy. We were at a very young age when we lost our mom, and now we face the same dilemma all over again. The horror that we might lose our dad too.

For the process of prolonging his life without any assurance of cure. Together, big or small i know that we can still give a quality life and maybe somehow prolong the inevitable.

Peter is residing in the Philippines together with his family. As of the creation of this campaign, he is scheduled to undergo the first session if his 5th cycle o Saturday, June 6, 2020.
