Let us help little Deme to come out of his world!

Deme is 2 years and 5 months old Kiwi boy, with diagnose development delay, speech delay and signs of Autism spectrum. We made test of “Ados” as well and find out that, he has high risk of Autism spectrum.

Deme truly has amazing personality, he got very sweet and kind heart. He is active, funny and lovely boy, which is in love with kids, animals and nature. He wants to be friendly with other kids, but he can't speak, and he needs to learn how to socialise. We are truly proud parents to have such an amazing son. We are half New Zealand and half Georgian family, living in Georgia. We have 2 children, and we are trying to care and to do everything for them. But unfortunately, health system is not helpful here and it includes only minimum program of autism needs. We do not even get that yet! (Due to a multiple year waiting list). Our son is on a waiting list of the program. We should wait at least for one year and half or even more. The fact is that we have no idea when we will get any service from them. If we will wait and will not start all his therapies as soon as its possible, it can be late for his age and we might lose long time. Since now Deme has right age and real chances to be socialised and normal behaviour.

So as of now, we are covering all the costs by ourselves and it gets truly impossible for us to cover all special needs, which is necessary for our unique son. He needs regular psychologist consultations and Neurologist's visits. Also, main needs are: ABA therapy, Physical therapy, speech therapy, sensory therapy, occupational therapy, and early interventions therapies. At least 20 hours in a week of therapies and we've only hardly started ABA just for 5 hours in a week. As we mentioned before, there is a list of special needs and lessons, which should start as soon as its possible. Before it gets late. Since children’s brain before 3 years are very adaptive and we need to do everything is possible to make his brain developed, to help him become well behaved and a verbal person. We believe that this therapies really works and we are praying for him to have good result with it. The therapies continue for a few years, but there is only this possibility to make Deme ready for preschool and then for school. Our family truly needs a support, and we have huge hope, that you can help us with it. Any donation will be kind appreciated.

Deme needs to live with us as an independent human, with normal behaviour. Please do not leave him in his world alone and help us to develop our son and make his life better. Thanks a lot, in advance.
