Campaign Story
No there won't be snow in Africa this Christmas time...but there will be the Life Skills Oasis Christmas trip!!!
Life Skills Oasis is a community based organisation in Kiandutu Slum, Kenya. The project supports young people in the area through delivery of life skills lessons, sport, drama and activities. We also help keep young people in education by fundraising for school uniforms, books and school fees.
Every Christmas the LSO team try to take as many young people as possible on a trip to Fourteen Falls National park, a rare opportunity to escape the daily grind of life in the slum. For just £1.50 per child we can provide transport, lunch, park fees and fun!!
To raise money this year, I will be making a jolly old fool of myself by running round Huddersfield town centre dressed as Santa Claus, along with about 100 more santas all raising money for various projects. Please sponsor me!!!
