Campaign Story
Ana Sophia is 4 years old living in Colombia, a couple months ago she was diagnosed with rheumatic valve disease. Despite her situation, she is extremely smart, loving, funny, energetic and works hard to not get shortness of breath or dizziness so she can play or skate with her sister. Sophia currently needs mitral valve repair, my Brother (Sophia's Father) currently lives in Colombia as well and does not have the means to afford the co-pay for her surgery and the aftercare which includes some equipment and a nurse for the rehablitation and care. The co-pay of the surgery is $13,500 and the aftercare is for about 3-4 months, each month for the rental and nurses is approximately $1,000 for a total of $17,500. I really appreciate family members and friends who have been helping out with our situation and even if you cant afford right now to donate please spread the word and pray so we can get Sophia skating and playing with her younger sister once again.
Due to the fact that we are not a recognized non-profit, your donations are looked up on as "gifts" and are unfortunately not tax-deductible. Sorry guys.
Thanks for all the support and well wishes.
