Campaign Story
Let's imagine your home have been destroyed, you lost your whole family, you got injured, and you have to move to a foreign country if you don't want to die. In this foreign country you don't know anybody, you don't speak the language, and even if you find a job, your salary will be enough just to survive, nothing else.
It would be horrible, right?
Actually, this is a true story of Mohmmed, a syrian guy, who we met in Izmir, Turkey, during our training course about refugees and migration, funded by the European Union. It was unexpected, that Mohmmed, who works in the hotel we stayed in Izmir, had the biggest impact on us. We became friends with him, or let me say we became family.
So now, after 10 days of discussion about how to help the refugees, we have an idea. We cannot change the whole situation about refugees (although we would like), but we can help for Mohmmed. He has a few bad teeth, which are causing him pain, but it seems impossible for him to collect the appr. 2300 turkish liras (550 - 600 euros) he needs for the medical treatment. We would like collect him this amount of money, as a suprise, because who will help, if we won't ???
