Campaign Story
Hi everyone!
We are a regular belgian family of 4! My husband and I have an old dream of leaving everything here in Belgium to cross the ocean and come live in Canada, most exactly in Sherbrooke, Quebec.
We talked about it with our two boys, and they are as excited as we are!
The process to obtain a visa is long and very expensive and on top of that we are going to need a certain amount of money to "survive" the first months...
Can you help us? That would be very much appreciated, even a little something...
Thank you soooo much!
Merci!
My name is Sophie and I am 36 years old. I am married to Johan 42, for 11 years now and we have two boys of 11 and 6 years old.
I have always been "in love" with North America. When I was 19, I went to live in Deroit USA as an Au Pair for a year. One of the best years of my life.
My best friend Isabelle is a Canadian, from Quebec. We met when we were 13 years old during a student exchange and she remained one of my best friend ever since.
I had the chance to visit Quebec many times and I loved it!
I always said, that I would finish my life either in the USA or in Canada.
But you know my life was in Belgium and I then met my husband and had kids, problems, and it was never the perfect time to leave, or even think about it.
Now after 10 years of thinking, we finally decided that it was our last shot!
We want to go live in Quebec, Canada and have the North American life we always wanted!
I will give you updates on the procedure which is very long and expensive.
I will post photos of Us and of Sherbrooke the city we want to live in...
And of course I will answer any question you might have :-)
Thank you again
Sophie

"Mon projet Québec" is online and it is a mess!
Update posted by Sophie Romain at 01:28 pmWe wanted to send our file through the mail but we missed the spot. There were 3500 spots available and it was full within 4 days. Now the immigration services have decided to use an online service and it is a nightmare!Only 2800 people will be able to submit their file
Languages tests DONE! Yayyyy!
