Lend a farmer a hand

My parents have helped feed Australia for over 35 years. My dad runs a 4.5 thousand acre property in north-west NSW on his own and each year I have had to witness the heartbreaking losses they have suffered from drought and flood. My parents can take no more. It is devastating to watch the people who have given you everything and worked so hard all their lives reach breaking point and be on the cusp of losing everything. Not having much money of my own I am desperately seeking the help of others to raise some money to help them. anything is better than nothing! I want to give my parents some relief which I am unable to do on my own- to raise money for my dad to hire a workman for a week so he is not going to bed at midnight and getting up again at 2am to go working; to give them a weeks worth of groceries or even better to raise enough money so he can buy enough fuel to finish putting in his crops this year to have a chance at earning some desperately needed income to keep the wolf from the door.Farmers are the back-bone of Australia. They get little recognition for the work they do and the stress and heartbreak they endure over something as simple as the weather. My parents have never, would never ask for help so If I could raise just $500, although it wouldn't do much to ease their financial burden, it would be worth it to see a smile on their stress-ridden faces.
