#LeMarathonDeLecture, from April, 23th to April, 27

ArtXaléyi wants to strengthen its desire to arouse children an interest in books. We wholeheartedly want to inspire young people to have a passion for reading. As a result, through the #MarathondeLecture, ArtXaleyi will contribute to the intellectual and socio-cultural development of youth, so rich in potential.

As usual, our initiative is to orchestrate a couple of lecture-shows in several spaces (the partner schools, Cheikh Anta Diop University, Place du Souvenir, the Blaise Senghor Cultural Center, libraries, bookstores and public gardens).

10 books will be read by professionals, students and the general public.

In addition, the Reading Marathon will be a platform for exchanges between writers, librarians and the general public. In order to reinforce the link between literary professionals and the general public, writing workshops and animations around creative writing will be set up.

In short, the "Marathon de Lecture" is a social project committed to creating social synergies within the Senegalese community.

In this respect we are seeking a partnership with your institution. We remain available to meet you for more information.
