LEINSTER HUNT SABS NEED YOUR HELP!
With over 130 registered hunt clubs and statistically more hunters per population than anywhere in Europe, the task we have ahead in Ireland is colossal. We are a horizontally organised nonhuman animal rights collective utilising direct action. We use a variety of direct action methods to help foxes from being killed throughout the country of Ireland. We focus on sabotaging hunts with a wide variety of strategies and, therefore, allowing foxes/hares to escape. We put our bodies and lives on the line to fight alongside those who are seen as vermin.
What will your donation fund?
We are hopeful that we can raise €5000 to cover the cost of a 7 or 10 seater 4x4 capable of carrying multiple sabs and also capable to drive across a long vast terrain. This will also cover insurance and tax costs which are high on an older vehicle. We know it is a lot to ask, but if we all throw in a few coins we won't be long getting to our goal. As previously mentioned, we are entirely volunteer-based and always will be so it won't be appropriate or safe long-term to use our vehicles. Funding us will make us more effective, as we are a direct action syndicate you can be assured that your funds will go directly towards stopping lives being taken.
Some other points about our group:
We are anti-speciesist. We are aggressively not for profit i.e. every cent sent to us goes directly to the defence of free-living nonhuman animals. We prize direct action above everything else. We will be in the field at least once per week, defending the wild. We will always be a voluntary organization, no group should ever be paid to do what is right.
