Campaign Story
At lunchtime on Sunday 8th January 2023, my darling, furry companion was rushed into doggie hospital with suspected pancreatitis.
At 830pm on Monday 9th January, I received the worst phone call ever. Leila was not going to make it. I rushed to her side and was there to comfort her as she crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
She was insured and I was able to cover the £99 excess and the £370 crematorium costs. The remaining hospital bill is around the £5000 mark and the insurance will cover 80%, but I need to find the remaining 20%. I am on benefits and so I am reaching out to you to ask for your help.

The hospital finally submitted the claim and the Insurers (Animal Friends) have paid their bit. The outstanding amount that I need to pay is £923.50, which, thanks to all your support I am able to do immediately. The remaining £176.50 will go to an animal welfare charity.On behalf of Leila,

I am still waiting for the final bill to come through from the hospital. As soon as I get it, I will post an update on here.In the meantime, thank you to everyone who has donated so far.
