CTE concussion disease, Bipolar or schizoaffective – No one knows for sure. My son played football for and graduated from Villanova University. He returned home with severe mental health symptoms. One day he called the police for help but they took him to jail. He is now facing inhumane conditions in solitary confinement while waiting to claim his innocence. We desperately need help with attorney fees.

Campaign Story
Hello everyone. Those of you who know me will be surprised when you receive this support request because it is not like me to ask for help. I am usually on the giving side as I get great joy from helping others. But this request is not about me — I am desperately trying to save my son’s life.
Many of you who know him can be a witness to his optimism, kindness, generous spirit, and beautiful personality. He is such a nice young man who earned a football scholarship to Villanova University and graduated in 2016. Unfortunately, he returned home with symptoms of mental illness. He has symptoms of the CTE concussion disease, which can not be confirmed without an autopsy. Seven months ago he called the police while he was having a mental breakdown. Instead of taking him to the Crisis center they took him to jail. He has been there for seven months. He is often housed in solitary confinement. This punishment is not because he is violent or broke the rules.
My son’s mental health has deteriorated and his symptoms are much worse than they were seven months ago. I am worried for his life. I am seeking support for legal assistance so that he can be moved to a mental health hospital and eventually have a fair chance to prove his innocence.
Mental illness is a horrible disease. Solitary confinement is proven to cause additional mental health issues. It is said to be a horrific form of mental torture. He should be in a hospital, not a jail. He will not survive this injustice if something is not done very soon and I can not do it alone. I have exhausted all my financial resources in supporting my son over the last 3 years.
We need your help.
Thank you in advance for your support. A donation of any amount is greatly appreciated.
Please watch this youtube video on the cruel and inhumane effects of solitary confinement.
