Legal Fund – Help Us Take Legal Action Against a Conman

I am trying to raise enough funds to be able to take legal action against a con artist that managed to con me and my associates out of a little over $10,000.

About three months ago, he approached us saying that he needed our help to supply high-end mobile phones to certain VIPs of a local government unit. He promised to pay us a small interest rate if we could front the funds to purchase the phones. Moreover, he assured us that by June 1st, he would be able to pay us what was owed.

However, it is now the middle of August, and all we have gotten from him has been one excuse after another explaining why he has not been able to pay us. What's more, he has been promising to pay only to keep moving the day when that day comes around.

The turning point for us was when we discovered that he evidently owes other people around the same amount as us, or in some cases over six times more. We have tried reasoning with him, but we now fear that despite the threat of legal action, and media exposure, he will continue to delay payment until we grow tired of collecting from him.

The funds we collect will be used towards enlisting the legal services of a lawyer that can take on our case, file the necessary paperwork, and utilize the appropriate assets to compel him to pay us what he owes. But quite possibly include filing a criminal case so that he does not do this to anyone else ever again.

At this point all we want is for him to pay back the principal amount we put out plus late charges.

We are neither rich, nor powerful. Most of us live paycheck to paycheck, and only entered into this deal thinking we would be getting the funds we put out in less than a month. As such, this delay has hugely affected our cash flow to the point that some of us even had to take out loans just to be able to compensate for the loss of funds. So even if we wanted to seek legal relief, we would not be able to afford to because of the additional resources hiring a lawyer would entail. This reprehensible person is no doubt counting on us eventually giving up and letting him get away with not paying us anymore.

Any help you can provide can help ensure there is one less conman out there. Help us hold him accountable for what he has done, for the lives he has ruined, and the relationships and reputations he has tarnished. Help us bring him to justice.
