Hello,

This page is dedicated to helping Mavrik Point (due to privacy issues I don't want to use his legal name) with his legal fees. Please help support him and lift him up in this troubling time.

Mavrik is, at the very least, an incredible human being. Once you meet him, his personality shines through like the sun. He's outgoing, funny, and very sweet. Unfortunately, he has issues that not everyone can see. He suffered from a troubling childhood, even he would admit that it was rough, but he always made the best of it. Even though he struggled, he was able to use music as an outlet for his emotions. He loves music more than anyone I know, and that has been his goal since he was a child. To make music. He loves the craftsmanship behind it, and every little detail that goes into making a song.

From writing music, to recording himself in the closet as a child, and even now going to the studio and trying to make a future with music. Even when no one else could ever be there for him, music always was.

As an adult, he has made it his goal to make it happen for him as an artist. He's performed at different places, made videos and even has gone to college classes trying to figure out the best way he can market himself to an audience. As much as he's tried, there have been some tremendous speed-bumps for him.

In June, he suffered from two seizures as a result of addiction. This addiction has caused his close friends and family members to worry, and we suggested rehabilitation in some way. Mavrik agreed and has gone to therapy sessions since the incident. Unfortunately he has relapsed since, which brings us to our legal defense fund. As a result of his addiction, he has gotten in legal trouble. He was charged with three felonies and is currently being held in segregation. When he first got to jail they asked him about his medical history, and he admitted to his addiction. Since then, he has been in segregation, and won't be able to be in the population until a doctor gives him an okay to be there.

I can't imagine the pain that must be. Admitting to having an addiction is hard enough, and while I agree that someone should be put in a separate facility if they suffer from medical problems, I don't think that 23 hours in a cell alone without anyone to talk to is the best way to handle his treatment. He suffered from another seizure the day after he got there, and was rushed to the hospital. I believe that Mavrik should get clean, but I think with the proper rehabilitation he can do just that.

Please help us support him and his legal defense so we can get him the proper treatment and emotional support that he needs.
