My daughter is fighting to keep custody of our grandson. My daughter has 2 other children and she's been the primary provider for them with our assistance. She needs an attorney to represent her in court because the system is set up only for those who have an attorney. He was able to get a temporary order in place through his attorney to have him 2 and 3 days a week overnight during the week respectively. This was done without notifying my daughter until after the proceedings. My grandson cries every time he has to be dropped off to him and this has been going on for almost a year without any change in his desire to not go to his dad. When he is returned to my daughter, he is happy and glad. How can this be good for his emotional health and in his best interest? Whatever amount anyone can contribute will be greatly appreciated and applied only to the legal defense. When we reach our goal, we will post to let everyone know so that we don't exceed what is needed. Again, we appreciate any contribution you can make.
