Legal Defense Fund Alvin Kato

My brother Alvin Kato has been incarcerated for almost 17 years. He had 3 felons and under the FL law he received "3 strikes and you're out" with a life sentence. The culture of incarcerating men for minor offenses with a life sentence is changing. He did not kill anyone or even injury anyone. His offenses were robberies. The last one was with a broken bottle which they considered a deadly weapon. Over the years me and my siblings have visited him and he is in good spirits. He has paid his debt to society and is ready to move on with his life. He has a son who needs a father’s presence in his life.

We are asking that friends and family donate to his legal defense fund. The attorney portion will cost $7500 and $2500 will be for when he is released. Thanks for your kind donation.
