Lee’s Study Fund

Montessori education is an educational approach developed by Italian physician and educator Maria Montessori based on her extensive research with "phrenasthenic" or "special needs" children and characterized by an emphasis on independence, freedom within limits, and respect for a child’s natural psychological, physical, and social development. I have decided to start on my journey to obtain my National Diploma in Early Childhood Development with a Montessori ethos.

It is my love for children and the development of the community makes me passionate about this project. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a child smile at you, hug you or say they love you. Growing up I was a withdrawn and self-conscious child and I wish I had a teacher who made me feel confident enough. I would like to encourage and help children see that they are good enough and are able to do anything they set their mind to.

I am passionate about helping people abnd I feel that this would be a great opportunity for me to learn.
