PSA Music Video: Preventing Childhood Sexual Assault

My name is Robin Roemer and I'm the director and producer of "Leave Them," a music video PSA featuring the music of St. Paul de Vence. Together with my collaborator, musician Benjamin Doerr, we are raising funds to film a video for his song "Leave Them." Our consulting partners on the project are RAINN and Darkness to Light, two amazing organizations working to end sexual violence.

This music video project features adult survivors of childhood sexual assault screaming underwater. The concept is a reminder of how sexual assault victims are often silenced by a system that ignores their voices. There will be no words, only the music of St. Paul de Vence’s song “Leave Them” that tells a personal story of childhood sexual assault. We aim to use this video to draw attention to the issue and send a powerful message that we need to start listening to those affected. We can face this issue and shine light on it in order to educate and prevent this form of abuse.
