Leave Emma Be!

I am starting this fundraiser for my one in a million buddy Emma! 

We met in a dead end factory job over 12 years ago now! But what started as a boring painstakingly dull low wage job, Turned into a fun and memorable part of our lives!

Although Emmas first impression of me wasnt the best, We clicked instantly!

We had such a laugh together and 12 yrs on weve been best buddys ever since!

Its a  Brilliant friendship I honestly dont know what id do without!

So, within the years of me, Travelling and Emma being the sensible one and settling down to have a family! we finally meet up again. And its like we'd never been apart!

After baby number 2 Emma is Diagnosed with a high Grade aggressive type of Breast Cancer!

Massive shock! Im still not 100% on all the medical details but thats down to me not wanting to believe it was happening so ignored the Questions and Quizzing on whats happening everytime she went for a scan or appointment and a lot of the Time she had Chemo and radiotheropy I dont even think i asked how she was doing! My way of dealing with it i spose!

But she didnt even act like someone with cancer? someone having agonising treatment day in and day out all before the age of 30! Still juggling being a mum and a wife and not complaining about anything ever!

Despite what she was going through she still worried about me and everyone else first!

Bloody stubbon little mare too! Would battle her way through everything refusing any kind of help! not because she was ungrateful! Far from it! She was so worried about being a burden to anyone she just plodded on with everything as usual! (as best she could at that stage of treatment anyway!) or Thats how  it seemed!

Shes the Strongest Person i Know! And, after months of pain and hell, she had the op and treatment and still no rest for the wicked with the young kids!

Finances Obviously difficult and getting harder while her Husband was laid off without pay! so to help out, she even went and got a part time job to help out!

Anyway, after 6 whole years of having regular screening that appointment day finaly came and she was told she'd done it! She Had Beaten Cancers Arse!!

Amazing she is! Im so proud of her for getting through it and still being so strong!

Celebration time!!

BUT.... Not even 14 months Passes and as well as baby number 3 being the biggest challenge of all 3 kids and the strain of money worries once again! Emma, my strong as an Ox, can handle anything, best bud! becomes unwell! Really Unwell.  Id never seen her look so Low and So Lethargic Before! and then a few weeks pass when she tells me shes Going Docs to see whats happening. well, although she was confident it was nothing to worry about i was terrified! and along comes Cancer AGAIN to stick a spanner in the works! Yet, different all round this Time, very early stages But Im making sure she wont Be going Alone to have treatment, and she hasnt got the choice but to accept my help when offerered.

BUT... my Intention here to raise funds isnt to beg for money for no apparent reason! Times are Hard for the majority of us at the moment But after what My Best mate is Going through, having already going through it once before, so knowing what agony is yet to come I need to do more to help and I hope with the help of generous and understanding friends and even strangers i can Raise enough money to clear a few bills while shes recovering after the chemo (which she has just started a week before xmas!) to try and take a bit of financial pressure off her mind while she has much more important things to worry about. like her fight for survival! Also with everyones help im hoping to raise enough to send emma, her husband and 3 beautiful (yet challenging!) little girls, on their Very First Holiday abroad!

As a family together, so they get a break from the madness shes had to deal with not once but twice! in the short space of her young adult life.

she deserves to get some quality time away to rest and recover and make up for time lost with her precious Family

This is a surprise fundraiser because Emma would absolutely kill me if she knew i was doing this for her benefit, So please, If you do know Emma, Please Dont Spoil the surprise xxx
