Leather Work Supplies and Training

Until about seven years ago, I was able to make a typical living at a nine to five job. Then I became disabled, and have not been able to even think about holding a 'normal' job. If any of you don't know, disability doesn't pay enough money to live on. I barely make it by every month.  I have always been interested in working with leather, and being a creative person, I've decided this is the area I in which want to concentrate all my effort. The unfortunate part is that the tools and all the materials cost a lot of money, which I simply don't have. It is an unfortunate catch-22 situation. I can make money at this once I learn what I'm doing, but I can't learn if I don't have the tools and materials. My goal is to not only have an online store, but to also travel to conventions and fairs as much as possible. This work may actually afford me the ability to get off disability and make a living of my own. Since I do not have the skill yet, I'm afraid I cannot offer any rewards at this time. I can tell you that once I learn my craft, I will be happy to make items for my backers either for free or at a discounted rate, depending on the size of the donation.
