Learna’s Orangutan Volunteer Project

Hey Everyone! My name is Learna and this year in September I am hopefully travelling to Malaysia in the hopes that I will be volunteering for 8 weeks at the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre.  The Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre are at the forefront of orangutan conservation, rescuing abandoned and orphaned babies and returning them to the wild. It is my biggest wish to travel to Malaysia and do my part in helping the survival of this species. With the continual loss of their habitats and illegal poaching it is so important to work to save this amazing species. The money that I raise will be going towards the conservation project that I will be taking part in and any money that I raise above what is needed will be donated to the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre to help continue their amazing work. People should definitely get involved because this is an amazing cause that is working to improve the lives of these astonishingly gentle creatures.
