Dear friends, well-wishers and family, we are seeking your assistance to raise urgent funds to assist Leah Skeete aka DEZii, who underwent an emergency C-section surgery on the 18th August, 2022 in Bali, Indonesia and was kept under observation for three (3) days.

On the 18th Leah's pressure skyrocketed and her feet became unusually swollen from her thighs to her ankles. She had been experiencing intense pain during these last few weeks of her pregnancy. At first, the medical staff thought it may have been normal pregnancy pain and high blood pressure. However, when the doctor examined her and she explained the intense pain in her pelvic area, it was discovered that she was at risk of preeclampsia and the doctor ordered an immediate surgery. Following the surgery the baby was incubated where they monitored the baby's breathing.

"Preeclampsia is a serious blood pressure condition that develops during pregnancy. People with preeclampsia often have high blood pressure (hypertension) and high levels of protein in their urine (proteinuria). Preeclampsia typically develops after the 20th week of pregnancy. It can also affect other organs in the body and be dangerous for both the mom and her developing fetus (unborn baby)." (Source: clevelandclinic.org)

As a result of the surgery, Leah now has to come up with the funds to pay the hospital bill and get back on her feet...

UPDATE: Leah is currently dealing with post C-section complications. She has severe swelling in her legs exacerbated by the anaesthesia given, which has left parts of her legs hardened and mostly numb.

We are asking that each person contribute at least 25USD. If you spread the word to help us reach this goal, we would appreciate it.

Thank you in advance for your support and contribution.
