Leah Kirigo Gichohi Memorial Fund

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the tragic passing of our beloved Mother Leah Kirigo Gichohi (80).

On the evening of Thursday 24th December 2020 (Christmas Eve), Leah and Part of The GICHOHIs Family had their last Dinner together happily. On Christmas Day Our Mother Leah suddenly fell ill, rushed to Hospital due to Dementia related Complications.

She Had since that Day been Bed-ridden and on Life Support until the Day She Passed Away on Thursday 4th March 2021.

Leah was born and raised at Karatina, Nyeri County (in Kenya).

always had a graceful spirit and put on a smile so contagious that she brightened everyone she met. She was widely referred to as being charismatic and always make strangers feel welcome to her home.

Incredibly Caring, kind, Strong woman. she dedicated most of her life to God, Her Local Kiaritha-ini Presbyterian church, her family, and her community.

Leah is survived by her: Six children Francis Njari, John Muhoro, Evelyn Wanjiku, James Muraguri, Stanley Gakuu and Andrew Kinyua.

This Fundraiser was created in hopes of raising money to alleviate the financial burden as we grieve a loss beyond comprehension. Contributions will go towards Her Hospital Bill and funeral expenses.

The Family would Love to lay Her to rest soon in a dignified way as they begin to navigate through this tremendous loss.

There are no words to express our sorrow and we ask you to keep the family and friends in your prayers.
