Lead The Change 2019 Exchange Trip For Gia Hop

Hi, my name is Nguyen Tran Gia Hop (call me Katherine if you want) and I am a final-year university student in Vietnam.

I have applied to the six-day program called Lead The Change 2019 in Singapore held by Lead The Change Community - a global community for the youth and startups - from 18th to 23rd November 2019.

This amazing opportunity is designed for the young generation who are passionate about making the impact to the social and seek a better understanding of the ASEAN region.

You can find the information about the program here and videos about the previous exchange in July to understand why I deeply interested in.

Unfortunately, the program is fully self-funded and I cannot afford it. The needed budget is an approximate amount of 45,000,00 VND = 2,000 USD which included flight tickets, training cost and documents, transportation, accommodation, and daily meals in Singapore.

I will publicity he total expenses after the exchange to all the funders via email.

If any money is still left, it will be donated to Sasa Team Marine Animals Rescue - an NGO in the Centre of Vietnam.

Throughout my university life, I've been trying my best both in academic and extra-curriculum activities:

1. As a President of Organizing Committee at AIESEC in FTU Hanoi branch, Vietnam, I have supported nearly 100 volunteers to finish their global exchanges to foreign countries and Vietna as well
2. Receive Merit scholarship for students with high marks in the high-school graduation exams from British University Vietnam
3. Become Winner of Academic Merit Award for Autumn Semester 2018 at my university
4. Become TOP 10 National Finalists of ASEAN Data Science Explorers Contest organized by the ASEAN Foundation and SAP Asia Pte Ltd.

I believe that this advanced study program and training will support me, as a young lady, to achieve new competencies and skills to be a better version of myself and go the extra mile.
