LayUpp

As a major basketball fan, forever craving a pick up game, I came up with the idea that will benefit every ''baller''. In the wake of always lacking a player or two for a game of basketball, a thought of a problem-solving application crossed my mind.

LayUpp, designed to be an event-creating application would allow participants to get together and compete without having to worry about missing players.

LayUpp allows for the full satisfaction out of a game where both teams would have sufficient number of players in order to start and finish the game.

A host would create a party, consisting of a desired number of players where everyone wishing for a pick up game would apply. Then, based on the ratings given by other hosts/players, a host would select the players and grant them access to the game location and time. Once committed to a game, players earn rating points for a future reference.

Given ratings will be based on player performance (tier levels) and show-up rate. This will also allow hosts to choose different tier players depending on style of play.
