Layla’s Summer Service Project

Hi my name is Layla. I am 12 years old and currently in 7th grade. I love working with children! Since I received my babysitter certification almost 2 years ago, I have been babysitting young kids in my neighborhood, this has only helped establish my passion for working with kids. When I grow up I hope to become a child advocacy lawyers. At school I help with peers who have special needs and I'd really like to expand my practice. My mom discovered a program that will let me do this called International Volunteer HQ. They provide incoming high schoolers with the opportunities to travel abroad and help in areas of their passion. I would like to travel and volunteer at an elementary school in Barcelona next summer. Please help me reach my goal to make my dream a reality. Thank you!
