Lawyer fees to save a firefighters Line of Duty pension

I've been a firefighter since 1990. I was injured at a fire in 2008. After 2 surgeries, a huge amount of therapy, multiple functional exams, at least 15 top orthopedics and work hardening I was declared disabled from the fire department in 2012. Every year an independent Dr examines me to see if I can go back to work. After 6 exams my last Dr. changed his opinion about my pain not being from the initial injury when 3 times before he said it was. The Dr. commented about pain that I don't even have along with the presentation of my foot.

The pension board denied my disability without allowing additional evidence from other doctors.

I don't own a home due to divorce so there are no assets that I have. I have been a stay at home dad since the injury. I've been collecting me disability pension but now it's been denied.

I have an appeal for the denial of disability going to court soon. I have given that attorney $3000.

I also had to hire another attorney due to finding out the divorce paperwork that went thru in 2013 about my pension goes against federal law. I have already given him $5000 along with another attorney for $1500.

I have sold my vehicle and trying to get rid of other items in the house but not much luck.

Money has been taken from rent to pay these attorneys. They won't do anything with out more money given to them.

This is a huge mess. Trying to find work that will allow me hours around my boys.

I have to fight to keep a good life for my kids!!!!!
