Laurence and Steve’s Honeymoon Paris

Thank you for helping to celebrate our special day

We're so looking forward to our big day and to those of you who can join us, we just want you to bring yourselves and no wedding gifts - thank you.  

We both feel we have everything we need in life and to have you join us on the 4th of August is all we require - we simply don't have room for another Kenwood mixer or George Foreman grill anyway.

However, we know that some of you will pay no attention, whatsoever, to us saying that we don't want any wedding  gifts so this message is especially for you!

Our Honeymoon destination is Paris, not sure why - it must be something to do with one of us being French?! 

Now, once we've paid for the wedding, we're going to be pretty broke but don't worry, we're planning to swim the Channel, saving much needed funds for our week à Paris and we're already in training (Steve did a whole length of the bath this week!).

Laurence is also practising Edith Piaf's 'Non, je ne regrette rien' so that we can bring in a few extra francs for a cheap bottle of Beaujolais and some crusty bread to sustain us during our first day there. Steve, on the other hand, will be riding a bicyclette, with no hands each day we're there, wearing a beret and striped shirt, with les onions around his neck, convincing non French tourists that he is a French street act and the basket, secured to the front of the bike will gratefully accept currency of any denomination.

All that said, we may still be a few centimes short of the funds we need for the 5 star, luxury penthouse appartment (Boutique flat) we have booked for our honeymoon.
