Campaign Story
My name is Lauren. I am a 23 year old mother of two wonderful children. I was already attending college, but had started out in a couple of majors that I did not enjoy. Because I dropped too many classes, it brought down my GPA. My last semester, in my current field (Criminal Justice), I got a 4.0 average, even with taking 6 classes. I was informed that I will need to pay for one semester out of pocket before I could recieve financial aid again. I tried to appeal, since I did receive a 4.0 in all 6 classes, but they would not approve it. I am now stuck. I have 3 semesters left until I have my Degree and really want to get a great job to help my children's future.
