As we observe International Day for the Eradication of Poverty 2018 under the theme: Coming together with those furthest behind to build an inclusive world of universal respect for human rights and dignity; "the journey of actualization is to break free of limitations - By Hanna Perlberger."

Today's Chabad Daily Quote: Just as the olive yields light only when it is pounded, so are man's greatest potentials realized only under the pressure of adversity
–The Talmud

Here's my story....

Having worked in the insurance industry for over 12 years, I have since developed a funeral policy product which aims to fast track socio-economic integration and transformation using the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals #Vision2030. The innovative product will directly accelerate Goal 1: No Poverty Goal 2: Zero Hunger Goal 3: Good Health and Wellbeing Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth Goal 9: Industry Innovation and Infrastructure Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities Goal 13: Climate Action Goal 15: Life on Land Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals.
This new funeral product which will be the first of its kind in the world, aims to realise the following secondary objectives within the context of Africa's Agenda 2063:
- Shared ownership of the African development agenda across sectors fostering a collaborative approach to achieving the Aspirations of Agenda 2063
- Enable business; political; academic and youth leaders to contribute to the formulation of continental policy,
- Advocate for partnerships between industry sectors forming a universal supplier chain network which will result in inclusive economic development growth of South African business and intra-African trade #TheAfricaWeWant

It's tough living in South Africa. We have high unemployment rate affecting mostly the youth and post graduates, increasing rise in poverty, petrol price hike on fleek, maladministration of funds in public and private sectors, state capture ... the list goes on. Only a small percentage of our population is working towards the global action 2020 goals. We need to create more awareness on the UN 17 SDG's and Africa's Agenda 2063.
My cause as we observe International Day for the Eradication of Poverty 2018 #IDEP #EndPoverty is to raise funds to patent my innovative idea that will not only transform the funeral industry but also provide quite a number of good quality jobs. I therefore request you to apply your humanity will and be a part of my story, and turn this journey into our story. With your contribution, together we can change people's lives by creating employment. Together we can accelerate global actions for a world without poverty. Together we can do something today the future will be grateful for.
