Lassie is approx 10 years old. A crossbreed that we have recently adopted due to the unfortunate passing of her owner and Lassie lost her home and everything familiar to her. She is an old girl but is still so full of life. As expected, she came to us heavily grieving, however with time and love she has really started to come out of her shell. Whilst her previous owner loved her dearly, his mobility was limited and therefore Lassie was also limited to the area in which she was able to explore. Since coming to live with us she has been able to live her life to the fullest and enjoy adventures full of exploration and intrigue. My mum could not have put it better when she said that 'Lassie's purpose in life has been fulfilled through taking care of her elderly owner, and now this is her time; this is where her life really begins'.

Unfortunately, we have recently received the devastating news that Lassie has a cancerous tumour. We love our girl dearly, however, the cost of the treatment is high. We will of course fund as much of the cost ourselves, but we would be more than grateful if you could consider making a small donation towards the cost of this treatment so that we can see Lassie live out her last years to the greatest extent possible. Thanks for reading.

  • My Louloudog suffered squamous cell sarcoma, had multiple tumors removed and underwent chemo sessions, very expensive, worth every penny. The cancer kept returning and then she was diagnosed with diabetes. I researched and completely changed her diet, no more tins, no carbs, no sugar. The last tumor growing nearly vanished over night. Highly recommend you check this out. Lou passed last week, 12 years old, she lived 8 years longer than the vet originally thought, this is a gift from her :) good luck 👍🏾
