Laser Eye Surgery

Hello, my name is Johanna, I am an Austrian photographer and artist living in Spain.
I have to admit that this is the first time I am trying something like this and have no idea if this will work, but thought to myself that there is no other way to find out than by trying.

Since years I have been dealing with my eyesight getting worse, which didn't really bother me that much, since I was able to use contact lenses and was quite ok with that. Until last year I never considered having a laser eye surgery to get my 20/20 vision back. In April 2016 the problems started when I couldn't use my contacts anymore, because every time i put them in after 2 minutes my eyes started swelling up and hurting, the day after I always had an eye infection which forced me to use only glasses. I went to the doctor and explained the problem and he found out that I developed a chronic inflammation on the inside of my eyelids which basically makes it impossible for me to ever wear contact lenses again. I admit that may sound like a minor problem to some people, but to me that was a shock, since my work is based on me having good eyesight and cannot work as a photographer when having to use glasses. They are always in the way, dirty, fogging up and of course totally useless when raining. I just feel like I cannot live up to my potential and do my job the way I want to. Taking crisp photos is a bit of a challenge when not seeing properly. The only option I have to deal with this problem is by getting a laser eye surgery. Since I am in a quite bad financial situation right now I need to ask you to help me out and support my cause by making a donation. Every little bit helps. Of course I will be trying to give back and send digital art prints to my funders.
