Las Binghies for Jamaica

The project consists in opening a Centre of Arts and knowledge of health food for the children in Jamaica. Arts are one of the most powerful way to give them the opportunity to come out from the circle of violence, poverty, state of abandon and “no hope“ that surround them . Through the arts the youth can express themselves, they have the tools to connect with their inner being and create a way to change their lives.

The Centre has different purposes :

- to give them the chance to learn and develop the arts they like the more so that they will have a possibility to start a profession and get out of unemployment

- to make them aware of the importance of the connection with themselves, the nature and the animals ;

- to give them the knowledge about healthy food in order to take care of their body and their souls in total respect of the nature through workshops of ital and vegan diet ;

- to offer them yoga practices and meditations in order to be more and more conscious of the ability everyone has to create his own life.

The project starts taking contact and visit various artists and people in Europe that are working for similar project to see and learn their working methods. All the artists that would like to be part of it will create events on a regular basis with me to rise the money for the cause and will donate a song each one for the Album of the Centre. A part of the money collected through the crowd funding will be destined to the recording, the launch and advertisement of the album.

The reward the donators will receive is the free downloading of all the tracks of the album.

All the artists are invited to come to the centre to offer workshops and to live personally the experience for a minimum of three months to give the youth the continuity of the program of teaching.

After this first part I'll travel to Jamaica to get in contact with several local artists that will give their support organizing events to collect funds, giving workshops to the children and promoting our activities to sensitize the public authorithy to support us.

Once I'll be there I'll move to find the best location for the centre, to buy all the material for teaching, a kitchen for the healthy diet workshops and local volunteers to guarantee the teaching and support to the kids.

As a musician I'll work organizing concerts to give the benefits to the cause. This is for me the project of my life and everyone who likes it is invited to participate with donations, new ideas, songs for the album and whatever can be helpful for it.
