Laptops for students

Getting laptops for 6 students studying at different stages. The need for the laptops is due to the shifting in learning from class room to virtual classes. These students are below middle class and their parents can not afford to get laptops for all of them.

I am volunteering my time trying to support on a very small scale with the issue of providing laptops to students so they can learn. There is another challenge related to media literacy, I might not be able to financially contribute to buy the laptops, but, I plan to contribute through the resources I have by creating easy to follow and learn "learning segments" for mothers in Arabic for what it means virtual classes and how to navigate through Google products, Classroom and Zoom, as we need the supervision of parents at home in order to be able to follow up with their children.

Shifting to online learning and virtual classrooms due to Covid-pandemic is still challenging in Jordan as there are many obstacles we are facing; one of them is having affordable laptops and being able to study online; this requires self dicipline, time management skilss and media literacy for both parents and students.
