Laptop for school

Hi my name is Jamie, 19 and I am from Singapore! School's starting in few weeks and I am really in need of a new Laptop, to be fully transparent with the people who are donating, I am intending to get macbook pro 13' Retina Display with Apple Care with educational price in Singapre it costs about 1826 SGD. My current laptop (Fujitsu) is not cooperating well with me (mircosoft office lags every few seconds/my internet lags/has frequent hiccups) I know it might sound like a kid whining for a new toy but I am going into my last sem in my current school and all the core modules would be on me this sem and I really need something reliable to help me throught this journey.

I have actually been wanting a macbook for about 2 years by now but never really could afford it because of the price tag. I hope its not too much to ask, even a small amount would really be helpful for me, I thank you so much in advance.

P.s I am also an inspiring songwriter and musician, it would be absolutely amazing if you could help me get a platform (Garage Band on Macbook) to record and edit my songs (I tried other softwares on my current laptop but it never worked out).  With all the due thanks and love :)
