Hi. I'm Kesia Celeste, 18 and going to college as "scholar ng bayan" in Mindanao State University, General Santos City and will take up Political Science.

Our family is not rich. My parents reside in the Province of Sultan Kudarat while I am living with my lola here in General Santos City. Studying in MSU is my parent's first choice since first, it's cheaper vs. other public colleges vs. private colleges around gensan. Second, it's near my lola's house and transportation fare is not a problem i can just walk a kilometer to my classroom to save my baon. But I didn't just enrolled there because its cheap but because I want a quality education where I can hone my skills, test my knowledge, develope art and patriotism and prepare me to be globally competitive.

I'm an honor student since elementary, junior highs school and until senior high school. I've been in MSU for two school years during my senior high school and I was surprised to be in a battle I'm not fully prepared. Compared to my past schools, life in MSU is very challenging. I don't usually study but since I came to this school I review almost every night till dawn to catch up. Paper works are piling every every day and I'm having a hard to passing my papers o time and research papers are draining me physically, emotionally and financially specially when you have to hop around to different people just to type a page of reflection paper or report project and any other paperwork before deadline. Sometimes you encounter people who do not want to lend you their laptop because of being competitive and while the other can't lend you theirs even if they want to, since they have a paper they need to finish too.

I always knew that my parents cannot provide because the money intended for the laptop should go to expenses that are far more important than the said electronic.

I am writing here to ask those who are fortunate to me help out and raise money for my little wish to help me in my studies and be more productive. I wish to be a Magna cum laude soon and I knew I could do better when I have what I need.

I am greatful to those good people for your voluntarism and make sure I'll get you updated when i finally bought myself one with your help.

Wishful, Kesia
