LAPTOP for Architecture School

Hi! I'm a 4th year architecture student from the Philippines, currently studying in the University of Santo Tomas. I opened this fundraiser because I want to help my parents, who are already struggling financially because of my expensive tuition. I actually feel guilty everyday because I feel like a big burden to them, and I'm ever so grateful that they're trying to keep me in one of the best architecture schools in our country. I actually asked them for a laptop but it seems like they're really having a hard time trying to put it in the budget. I want to help them ease a bit by trying to ask you guys, the people of the world to help me buy a decent laptop (for cad, 3d modelling, and gpu intensive renderings). Since most of our subjects require lots work work done both at home and in school, a laptop would really be the best device for a student like me.

I'm also doing commissions alongside my academics to fund my daily expenses, such as printing and coffee, and buy my own stuff, so that I wouldn't be much of a burden to my parents. I feel having a laptop with me would be a great ease to my workload since I travel 1-2hrs everyday going to school, and that it would allow me to continue working on plates at school, unlike how I'm doing them until now in our house's computer.

I'm trying to buy an acer predator helios 300 because I think its the best laptop for the pricepoint. With a high end processor, 16gb ram and a gtx1660ti gpu at $1199.99 + 9% us tax, since I'll be buying it through amazon (since the laptop isnt released in the ph yet)

I know this is not as big of a problem like medical expenses, but if you have some to spare, I would gladly appreciate it. I really want to excel in my studies and show the people my skills that I think have been greatly hindered because I didn't have a laptop with me. I would also be able to work on more commissions in the future.
