laptop for a university student

I am a university student, currently studying diploma in architecture, year 2, semester 4. I've been through these few semesters and theywere tough for me as I do not have enough money to buy a laptop until now because of my family financial issues. I've been asking for so many times from my newly divorced parents for money to buy a laptop because it's a necessity as I will be using it a lot for my studies and presentations and especially doing architecture projects. For so long, I was just doing everything by hand and it was really tough for me.. I will not get a laptop any sooner from my parents or even to work for it..it will take years.. I really hope someone can help me to raise fund at least to buy a laptop that will help a lot in my life..
