LANGSTROTH BEE HIVES & BEE KEEPING EQUIPMENTS

Hello everyone, my name is Kirimi Ngayu, born and raised in Nyeri, Kenya in a remote village called Karunaini, which is in the heart of the Aberdare forest home of the great MauMau freedom fighters. I am an IT consultant by profession.

As you are aware, many Kenyan youths are undergoing difficult times due to lack of job opportunities thus engaging in vices like drugs and crime. It is in this light that i am seeking funds from the wonderful global family to support the construction of a modern bee keeping apiary and honey harvesting centre in my local village. The centre will create employment to local youths and help them avoid drugs and criminal activities as well as eradicate hunger and poverty. The youth will also be actively involved in environmental conservation activities.

The funds raised will go into the purchase of the following items:

1. Construction of a secure modern apiary.
2. Langstroth bee hives.
3. Bee suits for the bee handlers.
4. Modern honey harvesting equipments eg. Bee smokers, bee venom collector, honey extractor machine, bee brushes, bee gloves among others.
5. Training all the support staff on modern bee keeping practises.

We are confident that a bit of help from each and everyone of you could really make a difference for many youths in my village.
