Landslide Remediation, Šandrovac, Croatia / Saniranje klizišta, Šandrovac, Hrvatska

In 2015, two landslides occurred in the area of the village of Šandrovac in Croatia, with a larger area of about 90,000 m2 and a smaller area of about 24,000 m2. Since then, the landslide has not been repaired, everyone has neglected both people and landslides. Over the years, the landslide continued to expand. After the earthquakes that hit Croatia in 2020 and 2021, the landslides became even more active and the houses along the landslides were damaged almost to the end. There are 5 family houses on the landslides in which 17 people live. Of these 17 persons, 4 are minor children and one is a disabled person. In addition to these houses, two streets in the village of Šandrovac through which the landslide passes are in danger, especially Vinogradska Street (through which the landslide extends along its entire length). After 6 years of neglect, living in fear and inhumane conditions, we decided to try to repair the landslide ourselves. A landslide remediation plan exists (through a geologist), we just need the money.

2015. godine na području sela Šandrovac u Hrvatskoj nastala su dva klizišta, veće površine oko 90 000 m2 i manje površine oko 24 000 m2. Od tada klizište nije sanirano, svi su zanemarili i ljude i klizišta. Tijekom godina klizište se nastavilo širiti. Nakon potresa koji su pogodili Hrvatsku 2020. i 2021. godine, klizišta su se još više aktivirala i kuće uz klizišta oštećene su gotovo do kraja. Na klizištima postoji 5 obiteljskih kuća u kojima živi 17 ljudi. Od ovih 17 osoba, 4 su maloljetna djeca, a jedna osoba s invaliditetom. Osim navedenih kuća, u opasnosti su i dvije ulice u selu Šandrovac kroz koje klizište prolazi, posebno Vinogradska ulica (kroz koju se cijelom dužinom klizište proteže). Nakon 6 godina zanemarivanja, života u strahu i neljudskim uvjetima, odlučili smo pokušati sami sanirati klizište. Plan za saniranje klizišta postoji (preko geologa), samo nam treba novac.
