Laid Off – Son’s Destination Wedding Soon!

Here Goes...

I am raising money to attend my son's destination wedding in Ft. Myers Beach, Florida in February!

On January 2nd I was laid off from my job.  Work had been slow all fall, but was expected to pick up after the holidays. I have filed for unemployment, and I am currently looking for a new job. Trying to stay positive & focused.  "Everything happens for a reason" as my Mom would say! As a single Mom, I live as many other people do, paycheck to paycheck with no credit cards to fall back on.

The donations will be used for my hotel & day to day living expenses while attending the wedding.

I purchased my airfare in the fall and that is taken care of. My son is worried Mom won't be attending his wedding. He can't help me with the expenses as he is paying for a very budget friendly wedding himself.

This should be a time of joy & celebration!
