Today we found Lagos (stray cat) who was hit by a car in front of our house.
He could not stand up and move. We took him to the VetPeniche (https://www.facebook.com/vetpeniche).
They did an X-ray. The results were not that great: he has an iliac wing bone fracture and luxation of the femoral head. He needs a surgery of the iliac wing bone and a femoral head excision.
We did FIV and FelV tests and they were both negative meaning our friend Lagos doesn't have any lethal diseases and can continue living happily after his recovery.
The price given us by VetPeniche for the surgery is 380€ + 70€ for the excision + around 6% taxes. We've already paid 111€ for the consultation, X-ray and tests but we need help to be able to proceed with the surgery.
Lagos and we would appreciate any amount you can help us with.
We will provide full disclosure about his physical state. He deserves to continue living happily in our village, it was not his fault that humans invented cars and drive them carelessly.
