Im Lady Elizabeth Page
A full color coffee table book containing photos, drawings, and paintings of pinups based on the work of Bettie Page
I aim to create a coffee table book of original paintings, drawings and photographs that celebrate the many different styles of Bettie from innocent to Dark Angel
Creating several different looks from the very simple to elaborate sets, I want to capture that same essence of the good girl with the slightly naughty side that was portrayed byby Bettie
Gaining inspiration from the photographers who originally gave us the fabulous images, I know there can only be one Bettie Page, but I think it's high time she was paid homage to in a simply divine book.
A blog and through Facebook updates on a page will be created just for this. I expect this whole project to take around 6-8 months to complete.
Contributors at the top levels will have their choice of either their favorite photo from the book or an original prop used in the photos. Photos from the book will be offered based on the order that people signed up to back the project.
The funds you donate will allow me to add some additional lighting equipment needed to take the photos, build sets, and, of course, print the books.
Although the original plan is to print the book in soft cover, if funding achieves 150% of the original amount, the printing will be converted to a hardcover with a dust jacket.
Any additional finds will go to helping create more elaborate sets and expanding the number of photographers and models I can work with.
Hopefully we can include a few well known pin up models in the collection.
