Help us develop a cure for lactose intolerance

Who are we?

We are a tiny group of people in Croatia with a goal: developing an effective cure for lactose intolerance. We currently have no funds, so we came here to ask for help.

What is our goal?

Our goal is to supply cheap and effective lactose intolerance treatment to anyone in the world. About 65% of human population suffers from some sort of lactose intolerance at some point in their lives. Today, we have several options. The first one is of course using lactase pills. But those are expensive and inaccessible to most of the population. Then there is lactose free milk and dairy products, which are cheaper than the pills, but still considerably more expensive than normal milk or dairy products. But none of these solutions are permanent and none of them truly deals with the issue at its root. Our solution, on the other hand, is cheap and practical, as it makes your body produce lactase (enzyme that breaks down lactose) on its own for a considerable amount of time. And we want to bring this to everyone.

What do we need the money for?

It will take us a bare minimum of 50000 € to set up a lab with most of the required expensive equipment. But we will need more for all the required resources to create this cure. And as we go on, the price will only go up. There will be many things we will need to cover. So 100000€ should be enough to make a satisfying product, but more money we get, we can make the product safer to use and more effective, as well as produce it a lot faster.
