Tok’s fight with liver cancer

Cirrhosis is a late stage of scarring (fibrosis) of the liver caused by many forms of liver diseases and conditions, such as hepatitis and chronic alcoholism.

Each time your liver is injured — whether by disease, excessive alcohol consumption or another cause — it tries to repair itself. In the process, scar tissue forms. As cirrhosis progresses, more and more scar tissue forms, making it difficult for the liver to function (decompensated cirrhosis). Advanced cirrhosis is life-threatening.

The liver damage done by cirrhosis generally can't be undone. But if liver cirrhosis is diagnosed early and the cause is treated, further damage can be limited and, rarely, reversed.

Before pag nakakakita ako ng ganto.. MInsan naiisip ko nakakahiya magdonate ng mababa. Pero nung ako ng mismo ang gumagawa ng fund raising for my cousin. Kahit malaki o maliit maappreciate mo, tulong pa din sya para sa tao.

Sino nga ba si Mikhael Daryl "Tok"? As a son, super mabait at matulungin. As a brother sobrang mapagmahal lalo at sya lang ang nag iisang lalaki. As a cousin sya yung maalalahanin at mabait na pinsan yung di ka mahihiyang mag open up sakanya. As a Father, sya yung walang ibang inisip kundi kapakanan ng family nya at sobrang mahal na mahal nya ang asawa at mga anak nya.

Last year I think mga 4th quarter nagkasakit sya pabaik balik ang fever tas mawawala ulit. Till one day nag rereklamo na sya na masakit ang tyan nya. That's when we found out about sa tumor sa liver nya. Maliit pa naman daw as per the doctor.
