I am knocking on your good heart to seek help for the hospitalization/treatment of my mother, Carmelita P. Aguilar, 69, who is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Hospital of the Infant Jesus.

My mother was brought for emergency treatment last November 25 (Sunday) because her fever was on-and-off and she has been complaining of pain in her left leg. No slot was available in the ward on the night that she was admitted so we decided to place her in any room available just so that she will be attended to and treated soonest. After the many laboratory tests done, we learned that she had pneumonia, infection in her blood, and fluid in her lungs. She is diabetic resulting to the weakening of her kidneys. On December 7, 2018 (Friday), her doctor decided to move her from a regular room to the ICU because of difficulty in breathing.

We have been struggling financially because of this and as a dutiful daughter, I will do everything to ease the pain that my mother is currently going through and for her to get well. To the best of my knowledge, I have tried several options for financial help but up to now, we are still waiting for the results thus, I am praying that you could help us.

My sister and I are both housewives and while our other sibling is employed, his income is just enough for the needs of hisfamily. This is the only way I can think of to help the family get treatment for my mother.

I would really appreciate any help in any way you can. We just want our mother, who we love dearly and who is the source of our strength, to get well.
