Campaign Story
We are as unprepared as everyone else. Medical staff in EVRMC (a hospital in Leyte, Philippines, assigned to handle COVID-19 cases) are in need of protective gear to help them fight against COVID-19.
Along with a group of youth in town, we have initially purchased 200 boxes of medical masks as initial help to EVRMC staff. We are sourcing for more supplies for them to use as more unknown cases come their way. (ie. Finding PPE for them to use instead of raincoats they are currently using to protect themselves) We are looking to get more funds as we purchase and donate more supplies to our front liners.
Breakdown of a complete protective gear per medical staff:
Mask (preferably N95)
Gloves
Goggles
Face shield
Medical Cap
Shoe Cover
PPE
