My Ate and I have a 5 years age gap. When we were kids I am always bullied because I am dark and she is fair. But she would always tell me, it is OK, I only have fair skin but you are far more beautiful than I am. I don't know if it was true but it helped me in bringing up my self- esteem. One time, when there was a typhoon in our place our school and the nearby area flooded. There was no public vehicles as all were stranded. However all of a sudden a beautiful car stopped in front of us and the driver told my sister to come in. When she entered the car, it suddenly drove off leaving me, I saw my sister opening the car and almost about to jump saying "She is my sister, don't leave her! Stop the car! I won't leave my sister!" The car stopped and had me in. Every time she buys new clothes she would always think if it is something that would fit me too. She is tall and I'm short, but she would always make sure that everything she has would fit me and her. When she reached 18, she decided to stop schooling so she can help my grandmother in sending me and my brother to school. My mom is sickly so she thought of working as something that would benefit my mom too as she will be able to get a health card for her. She sent me and my brother to private schools believing that it is best that way. She had me and my brother fly to Thailand for the first time so we can experience being on a plane. Every time we tell her that we would like to go overseas to work too, she would decline that idea, saying she doesn't want us to experience the sadness of leaving the family behind just to earn. She sold her old house to give the money to our grandmother and uncle so they can have something to call their own. She brought my uncle his own tricycle. She has done so many good things for us. She always tells me, since we don't have a father, I am in charge of the family. Yesterday, (Feb. 25, 2020) she has suffered a stroke that led to aneurysm and is fighting for her life in Sharjah, UAE. She needs to undergo an operation. The doctors told her family there that it will cause 30000 dirhams plus the 6000 dirhams per day for the ICU. It is payback time, I know, I am willing to do everything for her to live. I think she deserves to have a long life, enjoy the company of her future grandchildren and see the fruit of all her sacrifices. Please join me in praying for her recovery.

Any monetary assistance you can give will be highly appreciated. We hope she can have her operation by tomorrow.
